Windows 10 – The Creator’s Update is Coming…

The latest “feature update” is coming. This is another large installation that will bring your Windows 10 revision to 1703. This update will happen over the next few months and you should be prepared for a large restart time period. You can tell Windows the best time not to do this is to set “Active Hours” in the Windows Update Settings. This will allow you to tell Windows when you are using the PC and will minimize the chances of it restarting during your daily work schedule!

How to configure Active Hours on your PC

• Use the Windows key + I keyboard shortcut to open the Settings app.
• Click Update & security.
• Under Update settings, you will notice a few extra links, click Change Active Hours.
• Specify the time you’re actively using your computer.
• Click Save to commit the changes.
